One pro of timeshare ownership is knowing that you will have a place to go every year to spend your vacation. Since vacations often get booked up in advance, it is a great benefit to have an ownership in a week’s vacation and be confident that you have a place to spend your vacation during that week. Another pro of timeshare ownership is the ability to plan ahead. Since individuals often have to take off from work, find someone to look after the kids while they are gone, etc., knowing what time of year your vacation will take place on an annual basis is a good thing to have in your back pocket.
Timeshare ownership is also a great way to meet new people and create lasting friendships along the way. This makes it possible for people to get to know one another and know that they will see each other the next year at the same time. Lastly, those who own timeshares may like the fact that they see some of the same people at the timeshare each year however there are also those who do not like this attribute. For those latter types of people, the fact that they have to see all the same people each year may be a con in relation to timeshare ownership.
