Lose All Your Friends Soup


  • 4 bulbs of garlic, roasted in the oven with olive oil and peeled open.
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5 cups of chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup of fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tbsp of flour
  • 3 leeks, chopped
  • 2 tbsp of white wine
  • salt and pepper


  1. Sautee the onion, garlic, chives and white wine with the butter for 8 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer on low for 1 hour.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serves: 5-6 persons




Lime Chicken Soup


  • 4 chicken breasts, skinless, boneless and cubed
  • 2 limes, squeezed
  • 5 cups of chicken stock
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp of fish sauce
  • 1 tsp of cumin
  • 1 tbsp of basil
  • 4 cups of baby spinach
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup of coriander, chopped


  1. Sautee the onion, fish sauce, lime juice, cumin, basil, coriander and chicken in the olive oil for 7 minutes.
  2. Add the chicken stock and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the spinach and simmer for another 15 minutes.

Serves: 5 persons
