Caper Sautéed Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups of medium sized shrimp
  • 2 ½ cups of basmati rice, cooked
  • 2 tbsp of capers
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp of white wine
  • 1/2 clove of garlic, grated
  • 3 1/2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Sautee the garlic and capers for 2 minutes on a low heat. Add the shrimp, wine, salt, pepper and lemon.
  2. Cook on a medium heat until the skin separates from the shrimp.
  3. Serve the shrimp on top of the rice.

Serves: 4 persons

 

 

 

Ginger Sautéed Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups of shrimp
  • 1 large piece of ginger root, grated
  • 2 tsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of white wine
  • 3 1/2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups of basmati rice, cooked

Directions:

  1. Sautee the oil, onions, ginger for 2 minutes on a medium heat.
  2. Add the shrimp, soy sauce and wine.
  3. Cook on a medium heat until the skin separates from the shrimp.
