Black Walnut Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of black walnuts, pulverized
  • 3 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp of corn starch

Directions:

  1. Sautee the walnut powder in the butter for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar and remaining ingredients.
  3. Stir them constantly over a medium heat until the sauce thickens.
  4. Reduce the heat and keep warm until serving.

 

 

 

Cherry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups of canned cherries
  • 3/4 cup of white sugar
  • 2 tbsp of corn starch

Directions:

  1. Heat the ingredients in a pan on high.
  2. Bring them to a boil and reduce the heat.
  3. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Simmer on low for 10 minutes.
  5. Keep warm in the pot until ready to serve.

 

 

 

Walnut Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of walnuts, crushed
  • 3 tbsp of butter
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 1/4 cup of white wine
  • 1/2 cup of cream

Directions:

  1. Sautee the walnuts in the butter for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir constantly over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
