Potato Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of potatoes, washed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp of hot pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Boil the potatoes until it is completely soft and falling to bits.
  2. Strain and add them to a pan with the remaining ingredients.
  3. Smash the potatoes into the ingredients and bring them all to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer them for 8-10 minutes.

 

 

 

Broccoli Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of broccoli, washed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp of hot pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Boil the broccoli until it is completely soft and falling to bits.
  2. Strain it and add it to a pan with the remaining ingredients.
  3. Smash the broccoli in the ingredients and bring them all to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer them for 8-10 minutes.

 

 

 

Turnip and Parsnip Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of parsnips, washed and chopped
  • 2 cups of turnips
  • 1/4 cup of parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp of hot pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Boil the turnips and parsnips until they completely soften and fall to bits.
  2. Strain and add them to a pan with the remaining ingredients.
  3. Smash the ingredients together in and bring them all to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer them for 10 minutes.
