Seafood Newburg Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of frozen seafood
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups of cream
  • 1 1/2 cups of whole milk
  • 4 tbsp of flour
  • 1/4 cup of parsley
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Thaw the frozen seafood.
  2. Simmer the liquid ingredients together.
  3. Bring them to a roiling boil and reduce the heat to low.
  4. Add the seafood and parsley.
  5. Simmer the ingredients for another 10 minutes.
  6. Serve over pasta.

 

 

 

Shrimp Marinara Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of shrimp
  • 1 can of marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup of wine
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of capers
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp of hot pepper flakes

Directions:

  1. Simmer all the ingredients in a crockpot all day.
  2. Serve with bread or pasta.

 

 

 

Falafel Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp of dill, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp of paprika

Directions:

  1. Puree all the ingredients together.
  2. Refrigerate sauce for 2 hours before serving.
