Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of vinegar
  • 1 3/4 large tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1 can of pineapple, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup of Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup of sugar

Directions:

  1. Bring the ingredients to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer them on low, constantly stirring, for 5-10 minutes.

 

 

 

Mandarin Ginger Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of mandarin juice
  • 1 tbsp of mandarin zest
  • 1/4 cup of ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1/4 cup of sugar

Directions:

  1. Mix the ingredients together in a pot.
  2. Bring them to a boil and reduce the heat.
  3. Stir the ingredients constantly for 7 minutes.
  4. Refrigerate the sauce for 2 hours before serving.

 

 

 

Ginger Soy Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup of soy
  • 1 tbsp of orange zest, grated
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp of chili sauce

Directions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a resealable container.
  2. Allow the ingredients to infuse in the soy for 2 days before using.
