Apricot Ham Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of apricots
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 cup of sugar

Directions:

  1. Puree all the ingredients together and heat them in a pan until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Use the sauce to glaze hams and chickens.

 

 

 

Cranberry Glaze Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 8 tbsp of orange juice
  • 1 can of cranberries
  • 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 brown, 1/2 white
  • spices: 1 tsp of cloves, crushed, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp of allspice

Directions:

  1. Simmer all the ingredients in a pot for 3 minutes.
  2. Reduce the heat, stir well and simmer for another 6 minutes.
  3. Pour over a ham before baking it.

 

 

 

Mixed Fruit Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of mixed fruit
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 1/4 cup of vodka

Directions:

  1. Puree all the ingredients.
  2. Add them to a pot and simmer them on low for 10 minutes.
  3. Refrigerate the sauce and use it on sweet cakes and ice cream.
