Greek Salad Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made pizza crust, baked for 10 minutes before adding the ingredients
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce, pre-made with garlic and oregano
  • 12 slices of red onion
  • 1 cup of chopped black olives
  • 1/2 cup of feta, crumbled
  • 1 cup of mozzarella, shredded
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tbsp of oregano
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Rub the pizza crust with the olive oil.
  3. Spread the sauce over top and sprinkle on the remaining ingredients.
  4. Bake the pizza in a 450-degree oven for 12 minutes.

 

 

 

Wheat Pizza Dough

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups of bread flour
  • 2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tbsp of active dry yeast

Directions:

  1. Place the dry yeast in 1/2 cup of warm water.
  2. Allow to set for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the salt, oil and an additional cup of warm water.
  4. Mix oil mixture with the wheat flour and bread flour in an electric mixer for 7 minutes.
  5. Cover the dough with a damp towel and leave it for 1 hour.
  6. Flour a flat surface and beat the dough with your fists.
  7. Form two or three small balls.
  8. Rub the dough balls with olive oil and let them set for 40 minutes before shaping into pizza pies.
