Vanilla Honey Pancakes

Ingredients: 

  • 1 1/4 cup of buttermilk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of buckwheat flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp of honey

Directions:

  1. Mix together the buckwheat flour, brown sugar, and baking soda.
  2. Add flour mixture to the buttermilk, vanilla extract, eggs, vegetable oil, and honey and mix well.
  3. Add small dollops of the pancake batter to a hot greased pan.
  4. Brown the pancakes on both sides.

 

 

 

Apple Cinnamon Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 6 apples, peeled and grated
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups of wheat flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1 tsp of baking soda

Directions:

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Bake the apples in the butter, sugar and cinnamon until the apples become soft.
  3. Add the baked apples and sugar to the other ingredients.
  4. Add small dollops of the pancake batter to a hot greased pan.
  5. Brown the pancakes on both sides.
