Buttermilk Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of buttermilk
  • 2 cups of buckwheat flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 3 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. Mix together the buckwheat flour, baking soda, and brown sugar.
  2. Add brown sugar mixture to the eggs, buttermilk and vegetable oil and mix well.
  3. Add small dollops of the pancake batter to a hot greased pan.
  4. Brown the pancakes on both sides.

 

 

 

Oatmeal Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of oatmeal
  • 2 cups of soy milk
  • 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp of baking soda

Directions:

  1. Mix together the buckwheat flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and baking soda.
  2. Add brown sugar mixture to the soy milk, vegetable oil, and eggs and mix well.

  4. Brown the pancakes on both sides.
