Picnic Fruit


  • 1 large bag frozen fruit (Cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, pineapple, and strawberries -purchased usually from a wholesale store like Sam's)
  • 2-3 fresh bananas
  • 1 bunch of green seedless grapes
  • 2 handfuls of fresh blueberries
  • 1 bottle sparkling white grape juice


  1. Dump frozen fruit in large serving bowl. 
  2. Add all other ingredients but the sparkling white grape juice. Stir gently. 
  3. Travel to the picnic and just before serving, pour the sparkling white grape juice over the fruit.

The icy fruit coupled with the fresh fruit is a delicious taste treat and always a crowd pleaser...particularly in hot weather!




Low-fat, Low-sugar Cherry Cheesecake


  • Graham cracker pie crust (6 oz.)
  • 8 oz. of reduced-fat or fat-free cream cheese
  • 1 ctn. (8 oz.) Light or fat-free whipped topping
  • ½ c. Splenda sweetener
  • One can (14-15 oz.) low-sugar cherry pie filling


  1. In medium-sized bowl, beat softened cream cheese, Splenda and softened whipped topping on medium speed with hand-held mixer.
  2. Pour mixture into graham cracker crust
  3. Top with cherry pie filling.
  4. Refrigerate for one hour before serving.
