Crockpot Stuffing

Ingredients:

  • 2 loaves of toasted cubed bread
  • 1 onion, chopped, sautéed
  • 1 1/2 cups of chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp of sage
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup of carrots, chopped, sautéed
  • 2 1/2 ribs of celery, chopped, sautéed

Directions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together well..
  2. Place in the crockpot and simmer for 6-7 hours.

 

 

 

Crockpot Stuffed Turkey Breast

Ingredients:

  • 4 turkey breasts, boneless, skinless and tenderized, seasoned with salt
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 4 cups of pre-made seasoned stuffing
  • toothpicks
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp of white wine

Directions:

  1. Stuff the turkey breasts with the stuffing and close them with the toothpicks.
  2. Rub them with the olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place the stuffed breasts in the crockpot, drizzle the wine and more oil over top.
  4. Simmer the breasts on low for 3-5 hours.
  5. Turn the breasts so that they do not burn.
  6. Add water if they begin to dry out.

 

 

 

Crockpot Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-large bell peppers
  • 11 cups of seasoned stuffing, pre-made
  • olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Rub the bell peppers, inside and out, with olive oil.
  2. Stuff the peppers with the stuffing.
  3. Season stuffed peppers with salt and pepper and set them on a rack at the bottom of a crockpot.
  4. Add the water to the bottom of the crockpot and simmer everything on low for 6-7 hours or until the bell peppers are cooked.
