Crockpot Peanut Butter Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups of chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Beat together all the ingredients and pour them into a greased baking mold.
  2. Place the mold on a rack in the crockpot.
  3. Pour a little water in the bottom.
  4. Simmer on high for 3 hours.

 

 

 

Crockpot Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 10 sweet potatoes, peeled, boiled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup of molasses
  • 1 tsp of salt

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a crockpot.
  2. Cook on low for 7 hours.

 

 

 

Crockpot Poppyseed Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of poppy seeds
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 6 eggs, separate whites from yellows
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1 /2 cups of sugar

Directions:

  1. Mix the egg yellows, and all the wet ingredients.
  2. Beat the egg whites until they are stiff.
  3. Add them to the other ingredients.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients and fold them into the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into a baking mold.
  6. Place the baking mold on a rack in the bottom of a crockpot.
  7. Pour 1/4 cup of water in the bottom of the crockpot.
  8. Simmer on low for 4-5 hours.
