Crockpot German Stew


  • 2 lbs of beef chuck, cubed
  • 1/4 cup of sherry
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup of molasses
  • 3 cups of carrots
  • 1 can of stewed tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp of ground ginger root
  • 1 tsp of celery salt
  • 2 cups of beef stock
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced


  1. Add all the ingredients to a crockpot and simmer them on low for 8 hours.




Crockpot Rabbit Stew


  • 2 rabbits, meat cut up and seasoned
  • 1/4 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of cream of celery soup
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil


  1. Cook in a crockpot on low for 6-8 hours.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.




Crockpot Country Stew and Dumplings


  • 1 can of spicy baked beans
  • 2 lbs of beef, cubed
  • 5 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of chicken stock
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can of peeled, whole, tomatoes
  • 5 globs of Bisquick dumpling mix, pre-made


  1. Set the Bisquick globs aside.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to a crockpot and simmer them on low for 9 hours.
  3. Add the Bisquick blobs and simmer everything for another hour.
