Crockpot Dill Bread


  • 1 cup of cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 21/2 cups of flour
  • 1 1/4 tbsp of butter
  • 1/4 cup of hot water
  • 1 pack of active dry yeast
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp of baking soda
  • 4 tbsp of fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 1 tsp of salt


  1. Mix the yeast in the hot water.
  2. Combine all the remaining ingredients together and pour them into a bread mold.
  3. Place a rack and 1/4 cup of water at the bottom of a crockpot.
  4. Place the bread mold in the crockpot and simmer for 5 hours.




Crockpot Kidney Bean Bake


  • 4 cans of kidney beans
  • 1/2 cup of brown packed sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 8 tbsp of molasses
  • 1 1/2 tsp of mustard
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 25 oz of peeled, whole tomatoes
  • 6 tbsp of honey
  • 1/2 cup of chicken stock
  • 1 tsp of hot pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper


  1. Simmer all the ingredients in a crockpot on low for 13 hours.
  2. Stir occasionally.




Crockpot Polenta


  • 3 tbsp of butter
  • 1/3 tsp of paprika
  • 6 1/2 cups of boiling water
  • 2 1/4 cups of cornmeal
  • 3 tsp of salt


  1. Grease the crockpot and add tall the ingredients.
  2. Simmer them on low for 9 hours.
