Crockpot Cider

Ingredients:

  • 1 gallon of apple cider
  • 1 orange, sliced into rings
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 slices of fresh ginger root

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a crockpot and allow them to simmer all day.

 

 

 

Crockpot Sweet and Sour Soup

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp of vinegar
  • 3 1/2 tbsp of soy
  • 1 1.2 liters of vegetable stock
  • 12 oz of pineapple chunks
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 3 tbsp of sugar

Directions:

  1. Simmer the ingredients on low all day.
  2. Serve with boiled egg noodles if desired.

 

 

 

Crockpot Tarter Soup

Ingredients:

  • 3 cans of cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 3 cups of vegetable stock
  • 2 pickles, chopped
  • 3 tbsp of tarter sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp of dill, fresh and chopped

Directions:

  1. Simmer everything on medium in a crockpot for 3 hours.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer to keep warm.
