Honey Chicken

Ingredients:

  • ½ c. honey
  • 2 tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Directions:

  1. Stir together first 8 ingredients in a dish; add chicken.
  2. Cover and chill for 8 hours.
  3. Remove chicken from marinade, discarding of marinade.
  4. Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium heat approximately 6 minutes on each side or until no longer pink in middle and juices run clear.

Serves: 6 persons

 

 

 

Margarita Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. orange juice
  • 2 tbsp. lime juice
  • ¼ c. tequila
  • ¼ c. olive oil
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ c. chopped cilantro
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Directions:

  1. Combine first 7 ingredients in large Ziplock bag.
  2. Add chicken and seal.
  3. Chill for 1 hour to marinate.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and discard marinade.
  5. Grill covered with grill lid for 20 minutes or until no longer pink in the middle and juices run clear, turning once during cooking.
