Lemon parsley burgers

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups of ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp of breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of parsley
  • 2 tbsp of lemon rind
  • 1 tsp of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 lemon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Mix well all ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Roll the meat mixture into medium-sized balls, a little smaller than a tennis ball.
  4. Place them on a baking tray in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Flatten the meat balls with your hand until they are 1 inch high.
  6. Squeeze a lemon on the burgers and place them in a 300 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.

Serves: 4-5 persons

 

 

 

Tex-Mex Burger

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow peppers
  • 1/4 cup Salsa
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen Beef Burger Patties
  • 4 whole wheat sandwich rolls, split, toasted

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat. Mix peppers, salsa and cilantro; set aside.
  2. Grill burgers as directed on package.
  3. Serve in rolls topped with the salsa mixture.
