Cheesy garlic biscuits


  • 2 c. Healthy Heart Bisquick Mix
  • 2/3 c skim milk
  • ½ c. reduced-fat or fat-free shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Mix first Bisquick mix, skim milk, and Cheddar cheese to form dough.
  3. Drop into 8 or 9 spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake 8-10 minutes.
  5. Mix margarine and garlic powder and brush over warm biscuits.




Low-sugar banana raisin bread


  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 3-4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 tbsp. skim milk
  • ½ c. olive oil
  • 1 c. Splenda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. raisins


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Grease loaf pan.
  3. Combine all ingredients, adding raisins last.
  4. Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees F.
