Lemonade de Provence

Ingredients

  • 10 lemons
  • 2.5 ounces of lavender flowers
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 quart of water

Directions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil and add the lavender flowers.
  2. Allow lavender flowers to steep for 20 minutes.
  3. Strain the water and discard the flowers.
  4. Squeeze the lemons into the water and add the sugar.
  5. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  6. Add three quarts of cold water and refrigerate for 3 hours.

 

 

 

Spiked Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of frozen lemonade concentrate
  • crushed ice
  • 1 quart of sherry
  • fresh mint

Directions:

  1. Combine the sherry and lemonade concentrate.
  2. Pour 1/2 cup of the spiked lemonade in full glasses of crushed ice.
  3. Stir well and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
