Pumpkin Smoothie


  • 1 3/4 cups canned pumpkin, canned, chilled
  • 12 ounces evaporated skim milk, chilled
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1/2 cup banana, sliced
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed


  1. Place all Ingredients: in blender and blend well.
  2. If desired, serve over ice and sprinkle with cinnamon.




Ruby Smoothie


  • 1 cup low-fat strawberry yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 cup hulled and quartered fresh strawberries, frozen
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries, frozen


  1. Combine the yogurt and cranberry juice in a blender.
  2. Add the strawberries and raspberries.
  3. Blend until smooth.




Mocha Mudslide


  • 1 cup fat-free milk
  • 2/3 cup sliced ripe banana
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • Banana slices -- (optional)


  1. Place first 4 Ingredients: in a blender; process until smooth.
  2. Place the blender container in freezer; freeze 1 hour or until slightly frozen.
  3. Loosen frozen mixture from sides of blender container; add yogurt.
  4. Process until smooth, and garnish with sliced banana, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately.
