Kiwi Papaya Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 3 kiwi
- 1 papaya, seeded and cubed
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup crushed ice
Directions:
- Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth.
- Serve in tall glass with umbrella.
“It’s Green!” Avocado Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 medium avocado
- 1 large cucumber
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- ¼ cup parsley, chopped
- 2 cups crushed ice
Directions:
- Blend peeled, chunked avocado and cucumber in blender until mushy.
- Add parsley and lemon and blend until smooth.
- Add crushed ice and blend about 30 seconds.
- Strain into large glasses, garnish with cucumber slice.
Tennessee Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 12 large lemons
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 1 gallon water
- 4 trays ice
Directions:
- Knead lemons until soft and squishy, cut in half, and juice on hand juicer.
- Pour juice (minus seeds) into 1 gallon pitcher.
- Heat sugar and 2 cups of the water in saucepan until sugar is dissolved, let cool.
- Pour sugar mixture, 2 trays ice, and water to fill pitcher.
- Stir well and serve in tall glasses on the porch swing.
