Kiwi Papaya Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 3 kiwi
  • 1 papaya, seeded and cubed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth.
  2. Serve in tall glass with umbrella.

 

 

 

“It’s Green!” Avocado Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium avocado
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups crushed ice

Directions:

  1. Blend peeled, chunked avocado and cucumber in blender until mushy.
  2. Add parsley and lemon and blend until smooth.
  3. Add crushed ice and blend about 30 seconds.
  4. Strain into large glasses, garnish with cucumber slice.

 

 

 

Tennessee Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 12 large lemons
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • 1 gallon water
  • 4 trays ice

Directions:

  1. Knead lemons until soft and squishy, cut in half, and juice on hand juicer.
  2. Pour juice (minus seeds) into 1 gallon pitcher.
  3. Heat sugar and 2 cups of the water in saucepan until sugar is dissolved, let cool.
  4. Pour sugar mixture, 2 trays ice, and water to fill pitcher.
  5. Stir well and serve in tall glasses on the porch swing.
