Hot Lemon-Mint Drink

Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 4 cups boiling water

Directions:

  1. Carefully remove rind from lemon using a vegetable peeler, making sure not to get any of the white pithy part of the rind, and reserve lemon for another use.
  2. Place rind, mint leaves, and boiling water in a large bowl; cover and steep mixture 5 minutes.
  3. Strain mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl, and discard rind and mint.
  4. Serve immediately.

 

 

 

Hot Almond Tea

Ingredients:

  • 10 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup strong tea
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons almond extract

Directions:

  1. Mix and add equal amount of Sprite, 7-Up or ginger ale.

 

 

 

White Sangria

Ingredients:

  • 1 peach, cut up, frozen
  • 1 plum, cut up, frozen
  • 3 strawberries, cut up, frozen
  • 1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 3 tablespoons superfine sugar
  • 1 cup white grape juice
  • 1 ounce brandy flavoring
  • 1 cup small ice cubes

Directions:

  1. Combine the Ingredients: in a blender, process until smooth, and serve.
