Deck the Halls Punch

Ingredients

  • 5 cloves
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 3/4 cup of cranberries
  • 3/4 cup of apple-flavored brandy
  • 2 (32 oz) bottles of cranberry-apple juice
  • 1 lime rind

Directions:

  1. Heat and simmer, for ten minutes, the juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and lime rind
  2. Add the brandy and cranberries.
  3. Serve hot or cold.

 

 

 

Happy Eggnog

Ingredients:

  • 12 eggs, yolks and whites separated
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 pints of cream
  • 1 cup of bourbon
  • 1 cup of cognac
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tbsp of nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Beat the yolks with the sugar for three minutes until well blended.
  2. Add the bourbon and cognac and beat together well.
  3. Chill for 3 hours.
  4. Beat the egg white s a salt until they are almost stiff.
  5. Whip the cream and add it to the yolk and sugar mixture.
  6. Add the egg white and mix well.
  7. Chill 2 hours.
  8. Serve with nutmeg sprinkled on top.
