What is Pulmonary Fibrosis?

Pulmonary Fibrosis is a condition characterized by scarring of one or both lungs. Gradually, the air sacs of the lungs become replaced by scar tissue. When the scar tissue develops in the lungs, the lung's ability to transfer oxygen into the bloodstream decreases.
