What are Hiking Sticks?

Hiking sticks are sticks used to help with balance while hiking. Hiking sticks are also called trekking poles.

Why Use hiking Sticks?

Hiking sticks take some of the pressure off your knee joints and leg muscles and put in on your arm and shoulder muscles. This is especially important on very steep trails, which can lead to sore knees and hips. Knee and hip injuries can be a major problem for older hikers and hikers who are overweight.

Hiking sticks will also help increase stamina. The regular hiking rhythm with the pole leads to relaxed, calm breathing and increase stamina.
