My Worst Date No More Santa Claus Every morning, I used to flirt with a cute barrista at the coffee shop across from my job. He always worked the morning shift and soon started charging me for a small house coffee even though I ordered a large latte. After a few months of flirting, he finally asked me out for dinner. During dinner, we laughed and talked like we were old friends. Just before our dessert arrived, he excused himself to the restroom. While he was in the restroom, a lady walked up to me and said that my date was the father of one of her children and refused to pay child support. When my date got back to the table, I asked him about it. He confirmed what she had said, but insisted that it was a one night stand and that he had no intention of being a father figure. I was a little surprised and I felt like leaving, but I decided to stay anyway. Somehow, we started talking about Christmas. He said Christmas was the worst holiday because Santa never bought him anything. Actually, Santa used to bring him toys...but one night, he saw his mom kissing Santa. He told his father a few days later and Santa hasn't bought him a present since. He said this happened a few years ago.
