The Perfect Date

My best date happened when I dated a guy who was in the Army. We had been on many dates before, but this night was really something special. My boyfriend asked me to go with him to the military ball, and of course I said yes. The day before, he took me to the mall and got me this really pretty dress to wear.

On the night of the ball, he picked me up in a limo, which I thought was very classy. Inside the limo was champagne and shrimp cocktails, I felt like a princess.

When we got to the ball, all his military buddies were telling him how pretty they thought I was, which gave me a sigh of relief, because I had never met any of his military friends.

We were having such a great time, when the date got even better. They announced the king and queen of the ball, and he was named the king. After the announcement, he led me to the middle of the floor as everyone looked on, and we had a long, romantic dance. When we got back to my house, he told me how much he cared about me and that he loved me. What a perfect way to end a perfect date.
