A Basketball Date

The best date of my life happened a few years ago when I was living in Los Angeles. I had met a guy at a sports bar, and after a few hours of chatting about sports, he asked me out on a date. During our long conversation, we talked about our favorite basketball teams, and we found out that we both love the Lakers.

When he called me up, we talked about other things we had going on in our lives and decided to go out on friday night. He told me to dress casual. At first I hesitated because I knew the Lakers were playing that night, and I never miss a game.

When he came to pick me up, I asked where were we going, and he told me it was a surprise. When we pulled up at the Staples Center, I was shocked, but at the same time I was excited because I had never been to a Lakers game before.

We had such a great time at the game, we ate hot dogs and drank lots of beer. The game was really exciting, it came down to the last shot, and the Lakers won. That was the best date ever!
