Normal, outgoing girl I am the normal, outgoing, girl from a really small town. It has been almost a year since I became bulimic. It started when I was 12 and now I'm 13 years old. My starting weight was 167 pounds and I'm down to 150. It's not that much weight but it is driving me insane. It has come to the point where I'm hardly eating anything. My basketball coach is aware of my eating disorder. She is super helpful. I dread waking up in the morning and having to face myself in the mirror. It's the worst part of my day. I'm the muscular type of girl and I have big bones, too. Everyone who knows of my eating disorder says it's because of those two things. I often disagree with that. There has been so many things that has happened to me in this last year, like falling in love for the first time and getting my heart-broken. It was very difficult for me to deal with all of this, and I am not going to lie about it, I had come to the conclusion that binging and purging would be the best way for me to relieve my stress, along with the heartache. Well, that is the farthest thing from the truth because it does not solve anything. It does not relieve my stress. It just makes things worse. To all the young teens out there who are going through the same thing that I am going through. I totally understand what is happening. Trust me, it is going to get better but you need to seek help. I am going through counseling right now. We can all get through this together.
