Mama's Poem

My Mom

This story is not exactly about me. It's about my mom. I'm only 12 years old.

Well, anyway, my mother only ways 95 pounds. That is only five pounds bigger than I am. Her bones are practically sticking out and she doesn't eat very much.

Here comes dinner time but she doesn't even eat what grandpa or uncle Jeremy fixes for dinner. She opens up cans of food from the kitchen cabinet. She doesn't eat anything at all.

When I'm half asleep, she walks into my room and asks me if she look fat. I always answer no, but she still considers herself fat.

I'm getting worried about her, but I don't think she cares. If she did care she wouldn't have lied about eating good when she goes to my brothers and dads house.

When she look in the mirror, she sees herself as a bigger image, but in every one else's mind, she's anorexic.
