Lupus It took a long time for me to talk about my lupus, but what really happened, my mother was very open about her lupus, and that gave me an option to speak out loud about lupus. I have two sister that have Lupus. But, my lupus was very serious. I spend months in the hospital not knowing what it was, until my doctor told me what I had. What a big blow to me, I didn't know what it was. My doctor told me it was a disease that effects your body system. I cry and cry all the time. I have learned to deal with lupus. I'm more in tone with it now. It would be nice to know if there were some way to determine how it starts, if it is passed down by family members, and if so, what can be done to help me and my sisters. If there is a way to check our DNA, It would make a big difference in our future. |
