Model

I grew up in a warm family where everybody expected a great deal of me. I went into modeling at age 12 and from there on my problems started.

I was 112 pounds when I was first discovered. I went into an agency where they hired young teens to model bathing suits and other clothing.

By the time that I was almost 14, I only weighed 98 pounds. I didn't think I was too skinny. I always looked in the mirror and saw fat everywhere.

People were worried and I didn't know why. I felt okay. It was true I hadn't gotten my period for over 6 months, but I thought it was normal due to all the pressure I was under.

By the time that I was 14 and a half, I was under 70 pounds. When I didn't have the energy to walk, even to breath, I knew I had a problem. I was in the hospital for over 2 years.

When I weighed 100 pounds, I was finally able to go out into world.
