Herpes is bad news

I just discovered that I have genital herpes and I am very heart broken. I am a 27 year old female and I have only had sex with a hand full of people.

I'm not even sure when I contracted herpes. I was told that it can stay dormant in your body for a while. It is a very bad thing to have. I am totally embarrassed and would not wish this on my worst enemy.

I first realized something was wrong when I saw a "bump". I thought it was a bit strange...but I figured I'd wait to see what happened to it. The bump did not go away. So I went to the doctor. I got the bad news and went home and cried. Now, I have to be very careful and watchful of my body, because the herpes can disappear and come back at any time.

I will have this horrible thing for the rest of my life. If I had a second chance, I would be very safe...Do not have unprotected sex, the consequences are not worth it.

Please take precautions, so you won't get Herpes
