Hi everyone!

My name is Lucia, and I've been struggling with anorexia and bulimia for 10 years now. I am a photo-journalist and I live in NY.

I decided I want to spread the knowledge and the understanding of this horrible, horrible, disease (I used to think that cancer was better than what I had and I prayed to God to make me die every single day).

"Normal people" don't have a clue as to how many we are and how much we suffer. Also, therapy strategies are often wrong and even hurtful.

I would like to start a long term project about bulimia in New York. I'm looking for people who are willing to tell their story. Please help me to make it work, so that I can truly convey the gravity of bulimia, so that other people can understand what we go through. And hopefully, in the future, no other human being will have to live through the hell we have.
