My Wife!

It is not so much my story as that of my wife. She began her story by getting addicted to fat burners and gradually went from those to laxatives, throwing up, not eating, and over exercising.

We met when she was 26 and she eventually told me her story and her pain. She had been molested when she was a young girl, and I believe that's what started all of her problems, plus the fact that her parents never got her the counseling she needed.

She spent the next 15 years going through this personal hell of hers, and yet, somehow managed to love all those around her. She tried going into treatment centers three different times, mostly in her early twenties and a last time right before her death. All three times she walked out because she could not deal with not being able to control the situation.

I have some idea of what went through her head because of the things she would tell me, and all I can say is it breaks my heart to see the way our society has ruined so many young beautiful women's lives!

I tried my best to help her, but the demons were too much for her and she committed suicide on August 12, 2008.

If you are going through this same pain, please know that no matter what society says beauty is, God made you in his image and you are all beautiful in your own right and deserve to be happy. Please get treatment even if it is just counseling in a local treatment center! God bless you in your struggle.
